ALEXA CONOMOS

Wheel to Survive 2018 Honorary Chair!

Alexa Conomos has been proud to call WFAA and North Texas her home for 17 years.  With a big smile and her trademark cup of Joe, she loved getting folks”up and at ’em” every weekday morning on Channel 8’s News 8 Daybreak alongside Ron Corning. Now that she’s retired from that 3 am wakeup call, Alexa has joined the exciting world of residential real estate with her family’s company “Anderson Conomos Homes”. Like so many others, Alexa’s family has been touched by ovarian and pancreatic cancer.  And so she is especially passionate about raising money and heightening awareness for foundations that fund cancer research. Ever dedicated to tracing her family lineage, she loves to write about the continuing adventures of her feisty 107 year old grandmother. Alexa and her husband are the proud parents of three adventurous little Texans and their sweet rescue dog Keecho.  They love to travel, learn about new cultures, cook old family recipes, and celebrate their Greek-Lebanese heritage.
